I have had two new features on the Red Bubble site lately:
My Laundry Day in Venice watercolor (above) has just been featured in, what else, the Wash Day Group. This is the 4th Red Bubble feature for this painting that also ranked in the top ten in one of that site's artists challenges.
My two strawberries in Let's Talk were recently featured in the Fruit and Veg Shop group.
It's always fun to check the Red Bubble site and find out that one of my paintings has been highlighted. This always sends me right back to my brushes - an instant motivator!
Have a great Saturday evening.
These are great.....I think I must have taken atleast a hundred or so fotos of all the wash hanging out to dry in Venice...almost painted it as often too. This is a great rendering of it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Red Bubble site too!

Thank you very much for visiting, Cynnie. Venice offers such painting opportunities everywhere!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - again! I can see why the wash day in Venice is such a winner. What's not to like??
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhonda. This is one of my favorite paintings...it was such fun painting and brought back such good memories. I have not worked on my Venice series lately,,, I have a large tough one started that just stares back at me every time I go into the studio,,,I think that I will have to try something quite daring to get it going again. However, I have been really enjoying in a small format lately.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy this painting, and also loved your strawberries.
ReplyDeleteThank Deb. You ladies are so good for my morale. I truly appreciate your support and encouragement.
ReplyDeleteCongratulation! Pink, yellow layer on the wall is looking good in this painting.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Christiane. Being featured like that is such a great motivator. Can't wait to see what you post next!
ReplyDeleteD.D. I am glad that you like that painting!
ReplyDeleteRoss, thank you for visiting again...What I will post next? Your question is also a motivator for me to go back to my painting:-)
Such lovely, nice and bright colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Asit. I appreciate your support.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Vicki. I have to rush over to your blog now and congratulate the lucky winner of your latest giveaway. That lucky lady!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have your work feature in 'the bubble' - Congratulations Christiane!
ReplyDeleteperugina, it is so great to hear from you! Thank you for dropping by! Take care.
ReplyDeleteChristiane...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your recognition!! Pardon my ignorance but what is Red Bubble???
Marian,
ReplyDeleteRed Bubble is based in Australia and is an online community/gallery for photographers, designers and painters. The galleries are divided into groups: watercolors, Italy, Canon SLR pictures etc...Each group has several features a month: they select their favorite pictures; the groups also have thematic challenges where the artists vote for a winner. Artists can sell derivatives of their work on this site a bit like Zazzle: cards, posters, framed reproductions. However, the only real money makers on Red Bubble are the T-shirt designers.
I like the interaction with other artists, the feedback you can receive and provide on that site.
mouthwatering palette, super clean piece... bring it in before it rains!
ReplyDeleteNick, how nice of you to stop by! I truly appreciate your support.
