Lion King -Completed for Now

The Lion King : Canadian Parliament Building Carving
My Lion King, a painting of a stone carving of the Parliament Building in Ottawa, Canada, is finished for now.  It was a very enjoyable painting to work on. It's on Fabriano Artistico 140 lb CP and is approx. 14.5 X 14.5 before matting and framing.

I like it ( I don't say that very often) and I hope that you do too:-)

  1. Christiane...This is wonderful - very well painted and it has such "attitude!" I love it! The colors are so beautiful, also.

    1. Well, so far, he's been harmless, but I would not cross him too much:-) Thank you, Rhonda, for your support!

    1. I would not want to argue with him either, Irina:-)
This type of painting was great for me after the painterly, more intuitive and colorful coconuts; I now need to go back to something less "precise" as you say.
Take care, Irina, and thank you for stopping by.

    1. Thank you, Jane. Sometimes I think that I experiment too much instead of "producing" :-)
