Love that Lace WIP part 3

I took a deep breath, crossed my fingers, and added some red to my current work in progress:-) The cherry tomatoes look a bit like cherries....everything I paint lately looks like cherries!
I have a lot more work to do on the tomatoes themselves, but hope to start the stems tomorrow. I'd love to read your comments.

Meanwhile, this week, my Southern Belle is continuing its lucky streak on Red Bubbles and was featured again.
I still have difficulty believing that as of Dec. 1st, I will no longer be working full time and for the first time in my life will have time to do what I love...painting, of course:-)

Happy Saturday night to all.

And lucky you to pursue your dreams as of December 1st. I wish you every success with it.

  3. Looking very good! You just need more rich reds to get that tomato color right and then they'll be fine. Love the lacework and the depth you've achieved in this.

  4. Vicki, Pat, Jeanette and Rhonda: thank you for the support and nice comments.

I do like the lace, but, Rhonda, I am not sure at this point if I can turn that color around to be just right. I am inventing a new fruit once again:-)

  5. Looking really good,Christiane...once you add those delicate little stems and introduce the greens, they'll read more as tomatoes to you. They sure do make my mouth water already.
