Return to Blogging and Recent Paintings

It's been months since I have posted on my blog. I truly apologize for this absence. I hope my readers are still around:-) I seem to spend a lot more time on Facebook these days. Why is that? Maybe because Facebook is quicker, although it is more appropriate for short posts with less information than the blog...Not sure...But, I intend to post more regularly again on my blog.

Today, I will show some of my most recent paintings: one varnished watercolour, two acrylics of boats  and two acrylic abstracts. The two boat paintings were recently sold at the Kevin Dodds Gallery and Studio at 1101 Bank St, in Ottawa, Ontario. The others have recently been added to Kevin Dodds' Gallery.

Talk to you soon I hope!

  1. Your paintings look great. I especially love the water lily! A big congrats on your sold paintings. I also enjoy watching your experiment with the astracts. I too have been away from blogging for a while but trying to get back into a routine.

    1. Hi, Vicki. It is so nice to hear from you. The water lily was fun to paint; I had painted a tiny painting from the same photo a few years ago and really wanted to do it bigger. I will really try, like you, to establish a new routine regarding my blogging...a blog provides such great interactions. Thank you so much for stopping by!

    1. Thank you, Laura. Summer Dreams was painted after a photo I took in Maine a few years ago.

  3. I am glad to see you are here, your abstracts are great, so powerful.
I am also getting less active in bloglife, mostly short notes and few comments. Looks like we all get to next (different) level of our blogging.
